The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age for PlayStation 2. ANZ pressing — “Licensed for Sale in Australia and New Zealand Only” (EAJ03404455IS). ©2004 Electronic Arts Inc. / New Line Cinema. Developed by EA Redwood Shores. M15+ rated — medium level animated violence. 1–2 Players, Memory Card (8MB) required, Dolby Pro Logic II. Pre-owned in Grade B condition.
Journey through Middle-earth alongside members of the Fellowship in an epic turn-based RPG spanning all three films of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy. Play as six new original characters, customise them with an in-depth skill tree and over half a million weapon, item and armour combinations, and take on the Balrog, Sauron’s minions and other legendary enemies — including in co-operative multiplayer. Featuring stunning special effects and voiceover from the original cast.
- PS2 case included – Grade B condition
- DVD-ROM game disc included (PAL, EA Games / New Line Cinema)
- Manual / inlay included (The Third Age artwork, EA Games)
Collector’s note: This ANZ-exclusive pressing bears the “Licensed for Sale in Australia and New Zealand Only” designation on the back cover — a regionally specific release making it a genuine piece of local gaming history. The Third Age remains one of the most beloved Lord of the Rings games ever made, combining the cinematic grandeur of the Peter Jackson films with a deep, rewarding JRPG-inspired combat system. Increasingly difficult to find in solid condition.
Important: Grade B — light wear consistent with previous ownership and storage. Please refer to photos for exact condition.
